Akaliza, a concept formed by Anita, inspired by her own experiences and her baby daughter, aims to provide the caring support that is so vitally needed for women of colour experiencing this huge life-changing transition.

Currently based in Manchester UK, Anita’s vision for Akaliza is to take this mum-centred approach to Uganda and Rwanda where she was born, to create positive birthing experiences.
